Ihg Coupons & Promo Codes

Where the offers stand today

The board is short enough to read end to end before deciding. We track 9 codes across the portfolio, with discounts reaching up to 30%. That is a moderate board for a hotel chain, where inventory and rate controls limit how steep discounts can run.

The kind of offers this retailer issues

Ihg leans heavily on percentage discounts, with a small fixed-dollar offer mixed in. The sample titles show codes that apply to full bookings rather than specific properties or rate tiers, meaning a single code often works across multiple brands within the chain. This is sitewide behavior, not first-order-only, so repeat guests are the target as much as new ones. The stability of the offer set makes waiting a low-priority play compared to locking in a rate when travel dates are firm.

When it is worth waiting

Hotels see demand spikes around holiday periods and summer travel, when rates firm and discounts tighten. Winter months outside peak holidays and shoulder seasons like spring tend to see wider promotional activity as chains compete for lower-occupancy periods. Comparing Ihg against Marriott, which operates a similar portfolio strategy, shows the same seasonal rhythm: better codes in the troughs, thinner margins in the peaks. Book off-peak travel when a code lands, but expect less room to negotiate during major holidays or major event weekends.

What trips people up at checkout

• Codes may apply to full price only. Hotel codes sometimes exclude rates already discounted through corporate programs, AAA membership, or rate cards. Check the terms at the time of booking to confirm the code stacks with any other rate you have already qualified for.
• Percentage off applies to total stay cost. A percentage discount on a week-long booking compounds differently than on a single night. Calculate the actual dollar savings before assuming the code is worth the same across different stay lengths, and factor in taxes that may not be discounted.

Desk note

All 9 offers on this page come from merchant and affiliate network feeds, never from user submissions, and the whole page is matched against those feeds once a day. An offer that leaves the feed is retired the same day and stays listed as retired for 60 days, because a retired code often still works. Nobody here writes a code by hand and nobody places a test order, so we never tell you an offer worked for us. A code that fails for you goes to the desk queue through the report button the same day.
