Notes from the event tickets desk

Where the offers stand today

What's missing from this board is a clear stated discount on most listings, several code titles just describe a set amount off rather than naming a percentage or dollar figure. The feed currently shows 20 live codes for TodayTix, with the strongest disclosed offer reaching up to 20% off, a modest ceiling for a platform that covers hundreds of shows. For a ticketing site this size, that reads as a thin board: shoppers get more codes to sort through than actual figures to compare.

The kind of offers this retailer issues

Nearly all of the codes here are stated as fixed dollar amounts off rather than a percentage of the ticket price, only two of the listings in the feed carry an explicit percentage. None of the codes are limited to a first order, and there are no no code deals on this page, every offer needs a code entered at checkout. A few titles reference specific show types or cities, like the New York specific listing, which suggests some codes are scoped to a market or category rather than sitewide. For Event Tickets shopping, a flat dollar code tends to matter more on a lower priced show and less on a premium seat, something to weigh before assuming a bigger discount is coming.

When it is worth waiting

Theater and live show pricing tends to loosen around preview weeks before a show's official opening, and again in the slower stretch between the holiday rush and spring season announcements, when venues push harder to fill seats. Ticketmaster runs on a related but different rhythm, tied to on sale dates and tour announcements rather than preview windows, so comparing the two really means comparing two separate discount calendars. If a specific show is not discounted this week, checking back once its preview period opens is a more reliable approach than waiting for a sitewide sale, which this category rarely runs.

What trips people up at checkout

Discount amount left vague. Several code titles read as a set amount off without naming the figure, so the real savings only appear once the code is applied at checkout. Confirm the amount before assuming it beats a different code.
City scoped code language. One listing names a code for any show in NYC, which suggests it is scoped to that market rather than sitewide. Check that the show and venue location match the code before entering it.
Fixed dollar versus percentage math. Most codes here are flat dollar amounts rather than a percentage of the price, so on a higher priced ticket a percentage based code, where one is available, can save more. Compare the two before applying either.

Desk note

All 20 offers on this page come from merchant and affiliate network feeds, never from user submissions, and the whole page is matched against those feeds once a day. An offer that leaves the feed is retired the same day and stays listed as retired for 60 days, because a retired code often still works. Nobody here writes a code by hand and nobody places a test order, so we never tell you an offer worked for us. A code that fails for you goes to the desk queue through the report button the same day.

How to use a TodayTix offer

Pick the offer that fits your cart
Offers on this page are ordered by how much they take off, not by how recent they are. Read the line under each one: it shows when the offer entered the tracker and, where the retailer states it, when it ends.
Reveal the code
Codes are not printed in the page. Selecting an offer reveals the code and opens the retailer in a new tab at the same time, so you can paste it straight into the cart.
Paste it at checkout before you pay
Enter the code in the promo or discount field and confirm the total changes before completing the order. A code that applies but takes off less than expected usually means part of the cart is excluded.
Report it if it fails
If the offer does not apply, use the report button on this page. It goes to the desk queue the same day, and an offer that fails twice is retired.

TodayTix offers, questions we can answer from the data

How many TodayTix offers are live right now?

20 offers are live on this page right now. All of them need a code at checkout. The page was last matched against the merchant feed on October 2, 2026.

What is the best TodayTix discount available?

The deepest discount on this page takes 20% off. 2 of the current offers read as sitewide, so they are not tied to one product line.

Does TodayTix give a first order discount?

Not in the current set. None of the offers on this page are marked for first orders only, so what you see applies whether or not you have ordered before.

What should I do if a TodayTix code does not work?

Check the terms under the offer first: most rejections come from a spend threshold, an excluded product line, or a first order restriction. If the code still fails, use the report button on this page. It goes to the desk queue the same day, and a code that fails twice is retired.
